So, wie versprochen gibt's jetzt auch mal Bilder:
As I promised, I will now show you some pictures:

 

 

Zunächst mal Alpaka, 100g zweifach verzwirnt, in ca. Nadelstärke 2,5.

First, 100g 2-ply alpaca at about needle size 2,5 mm.

 Dann habe ich mit Rainfarn aus unserem Garten auf BFL gefärbt.

Der 1. Zug

Then, I plant-dyed BFL with tansies from our garden. The first lot

und der 2. Zug

and the second lot

 

sehen ziemlich ähnlich aus. Gefärbt habe ich mit etwa 400g frischem Rainfarn auf 2x50 g alaungebeizter BFL. Zusätzlich habe ich noch eine Solarfärbung mit Blutbuche und Kirschbaum auf 20g BFL angesetzt, die bis Ende der Woche ziehen darf.

 

look quite similar. I dyed with about 400gms of fresh tansy on 2x50gms of alumn mordant BFL. Additionally, I started a solar dye with copper beech and cherry leaves that will infuse until the end of the week.
